Define the requirement
Identify the substrate, geometry, coating function, service environment and acceptance criteria. Capture the condition of the part before spraying.

BALTiCOLD SPRAY / R&D
Start with a representative sample, agree what success means and use the trial to determine the next step.
APPLICATION DEVELOPMENT
Identify the substrate, geometry, coating function, service environment and acceptance criteria. Capture the condition of the part before spraying.
Choose a compatible powder and system. Record preparation, nozzle configuration and process settings so the result can be evaluated meaningfully.
Review the agreed measurements, finishing needs and repeatability. Use the evidence to refine the process or identify a different approach.
FUNCTIONAL METALLIZATION
PRELIMINARY DEVELOPMENT WORK
Direct metal deposition on PEEK has been explored with an engineered powder and controlled pressure, temperature and stand-off. Preliminary work reported current conduction up to 16 A, soldered wire attachment and a static load test up to 10 kg.
These are observations from the reported experimental setup, not a product rating or a general performance claim for coated PEEK. Long-term adhesion, heating, thermal cycling and repeatability still require qualification.
Discuss the actual substrate, geometry and electrical or mechanical duty before planning a development trial.
